SA National Parks Week 2010
13 September 2010 to 17 September 2010This week-long campaign gives visitors free access to any of the parks managed by SANParks from the 13th-17th September 2010 (with the exception of Boulders in Table Mountain National Park). The aim of this campaign is to envoke a sense of understanding and national pride in all South Africans which is established in the theme "Know your National Parks". All South Africans carrying their official identity document will be granted free access into the parks. It is however important to note that the free access does not include any of the commercial activities in the park such as game drives, guided walks or accommodation.
